OUR TEAM

As a family, we have had a lot of adventures and varied experiences.  We have collaborated on this latest venture, bringing our unique talents to the family farm in Gaysville,  to create Mt. Gay Farms Cannabis

Emily

Emily is our main grower, aka flower farmer.

From helping to create the license application, to managing and working with the plants every day, to conducting sales and networking, it would be an understatement to say that her background in farm management and coordinating has come in handy.  While being the full time, primary grower, she is also a part time student completing a master's degree in food and agriculture law and policy at  Vermont Law and Graduate School.

John

Mastermind, Technical Specialist, and Systems Manager

John was instrumental in deciphering all of the rules and regulations put forth by CCB.

He brings 47 years of experience in the business world, as well as...some experience in the cannabis world. He did after all, live through the 60's and 70's. We'll leave it at that.

John not only designed all of our technical systems, but keeps all of them up and running. He orchestrated the technical as well as physical specs for our dry room as well.

Jennifer

Website design, bookkeeping and field hand.

Jen prefers to be in the field interacting with the plants, but we all must do what we must do.  Someone has to keep track of those tedious expenses.   Website design is a good excuse to work inside on those really hot, or really cold days.

She also makes sure that no one goes hungry on her watch.

Dylan

Dylan is our security specialist, making sure that our camera system and perimeter security system are keeping a constant eye on our field.

Dylan is a skilled (and licensed) drone pilot, and has taken many of the aerial photos on our site.

He also helps in the field and treats everyone with his exceptional culinary skills!

Soca

Soca brings her lifetime career of perimeter patrol and critter control. Her sharp eye, keen sense of smell and rocket reactions mean that our cannabis crop is safe from any intruder, no matter how big or small.

Soca is a 10 year young airedale terrier.
